Snowmobile & G.P.S. Photo Hunt

If you're in the market for something bold and adventurous, then you'd be hard-pressed to do better than this. This innovative program combines the skills of orienteering and photography while negotiating a motorized snowmobile in deep powder throughout the high alpine terrain of Colorado. Each team consists of six members on 3 snowmobiles (1 driver, 1 passenger). Our guides will review proper snowmobiling techniques. Teams are then loosed into the wilderness with a guide to find hidden objects located throughout the mountains using their G.P.S. units and an instamatic camera.

It sounds daunting, like most challenges, but let us take care of all the details. CBST will design a course for your specific vision. We'll teach you proper snowmobiling techniques and give you an overview of the lay of the land. We'll even school you on the basics of G.P.S. navigation and supply you with a unit as well as the camera. Your team willl have to do the rest. The tally system is pretty simple. You win points by locating the objects. You also get points when you take a photograph of a specific location or item with the instamatic camera. Challenge yourself and you could be rewarded: the more difficult the objective, the higher the points! After an allotted amount of time, teams return to the staging area to compare their wares and declare a victor. The activity is followed by an insightful yet lighthearted debriefing that analyzes the day's dynamics, objectives and team interaction.
